Henry Miguel, aged 4, and Pedro Henrique, aged 6, disappeared on Sunday afternoon (22)
Two children were found dead inside a car in the early hours of Monday (23)in the Antártica neighborhood, in Praia Grande, after being missing since Sunday afternoon (22). Confirmed by Jovem Pan, the victims are the brothers Henry Miguel, aged 4, and Pedro Henrique, aged 6. The bodies were found with signs of violence.
The case mobilized searches and generated great repercussions on social media, where family members and residents shared reports and requests for help.
On social media, the children’s aunt, Juliana Novais, stated that they they were playing in front of the house with their grandmother at the time of her disappearance. “The children’s mother and father were working. They were with their grandmother and playing in front of the house. The grandmother went in to drink water and, when she came back, the children were gone,” he reported.
According to the Military Police, teams were called after people found the bodies inside a car. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called to the scene and confirmed the deaths during the early hours of the morning.
Technical expertise was called in to analyze the crime scene and assist in the investigations. The case was registered as a homicide at the Praia Grande Judicial Police Center (CPJ) and remains under investigation by the Civil Police.
