“Martin’s departure is very much a function of performance and results. In relation to the work, the method, the staff’s conduct with athletes, we have nothing to say. It’s simply the issue of sporting performance. Especially John [Textor] I expected a little more. That was the reason for the switch. Now we are trying to find someone as soon as possible who can fit into our reality as a club and the athletes we have”, said Brito, to Itatiaia, at the CBF headquarters after the draw for the Copa do Brasil.
