Former Lava Jato judge joins PL, launches pre-candidacy for Paraná and reinforces alignment with Bolsonaros

The senator (PL-PR) launched his pre-candidacy for the government of Paraná and made his affiliation with the PL official this Tuesday (24.mar.2026). The event was attended by the senator and pre-candidate for Planalto (PL-RJ), the party president, Valdemar Costa Neto, the leader of the Opposition in Congress, (PL-RN), as well as other congressmen from the party.

During his speech, Moro suggested that the result of the 2022 presidential elections may not be correct: “He was elected in quotation marks here in Brazil and is on the side of criminals and minimizes crime at all times”.
