The actor Gerson Brennerwho died on Monday night (23), aged 66, in São Paulo, left two daughters: Ana Luisa Haas33, from relationship with former model Ana Cristina Haas e Victoria Brenner27, from marriage to Denise Touch.
Ana Luísa lives more recluse to the media, while Victoria is a digital influencer. She has more than 60,000 followers on Instagram, a platform where she posts about plus size fashion and lifestyle.
She even published a message on social media talking about missing her father, who. The actor had been dealing for almost 30 years with the consequences of a gunshot he received in a robbery.
For her, Gerson was “the strongest guy who ever lived.” She says that the actor talked through his eyes and that “words were unnecessary next to the transparency of your eyes”.
The model concluded by saying that she will “die of nostalgia. Especially for everything we don’t experience.”
Who was Gerson Brenner?
Known for his work on Brazilian television, he became one of TV Globo’s heartthrobs, but had been out of the spotlight for decades due to the consequences of being shot in a robbery.
His first soap opera role was in “Kananga of Japan” (1989), from the now extinct TV Manchete. Shortly afterwards, he went to Globo, where he worked in “Top Model” and later, in “Lua Cheia de Amor”, “Perigosas Peruas” and “Deus Nos Acuda” (1992).
The soap opera “Queen of Scrap” (1990) was one of the actor’s main works. Gerson Brenner also worked for other broadcasters, participating in productions such as “Olho no Olho”, “Tocaia Grande”, “O Olho da Terra” and “Por Amor e Ódio”.
His last work was in “Corpo Dourado” (1998), playing Jorginho.
Tragic accident marked the actor’s life
Brenner was driving along Rodovia Ayrton Senna, on his way to Rio de Janeiro to record the final scenes of the soap opera, when he was the victim of a robbery.
Criminals had scattered stones on the road, puncturing the tires of his car. When trying to change them, the actor was approached and shot in the head.
Truck drivers found Brenner unconscious and took him to the hospital. The bullet went through the left side of the brain, and, although he survived, the actor was left with serious consequences — he lost part of his mobility, speech and cognitive ability.
