According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defence, during a meeting held in London between Minister Guler, who is on an official visit to the United Kingdom, and his British counterpart Healy, issues of defense cooperation were discussed.
The announcement confirmed that the contract for the purchase of aircraft, equipment and ammunition under the Eurofighter Typhoon program was signed in October 2025.
It was reported that an agreement was reached to sign a contract today on technical and logistical support for the maintenance and operation of the aircraft.
The statement underlined that both parties expressed their willingness to further strengthen their cooperation in the future.
