The federal deputy (-RJ) filed a notice of fact with the (Supreme Federal Court) asking for an investigation into the speeches of senator Sérgio Moro (PL-PR) and his inclusion
The request mentions Moro’s statement “The view that citizens have is that our President of the Republic today, who is not ours, but was elected — in quotation marks — here in Brazil is on the side of criminals,” he said during the event.
For the deputy leader of the government in the Chamber, the speech is part of the same disinformation mechanism that attacked the electoral system, electronic voting machines and the legitimacy of the popular vote.
In representation, Lindbergh states that this strategy began before, but continues to operate whenever politicians insinuate that the 2022 elections were illegitimate.
“Reopening this narrative is keeping the anti-democratic offensive against popular sovereignty alive,” he states.
The PT member asks that the Attorney General’s Office be heard and that the rapporteur of the inquiry, minister, establishes a connection between Sérgio Moro’s speeches and the digital militias.
“The objective is to prevent organized lies from continuing to be treated as trivial comments,” he concluded.
