Firefighters managed to rescue two people, who were treated for smoke inhalation.

They rescued an 80-year-old woman this Wednesday night in a widespread fire in her home, located in Ciudad Lineal. The woman had been confined to the terrace by a National Police agent who came to her aid and who accompanied her at all times until they were rescued.
According to reports, the fire occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. on the ninth floor of a residential building at number 78 Calle del Elfo. The fire spread throughout the plant and broke through the façade.
Nine fire crews went to the scene, finding the house on fire and the woman inside, along with the police officer who accompanied her. After the rescue, both were treated for smoke inhalation. The police officer has been discharged at the scene and the woman has been taken to a hospital.
