Golf star Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being involved in a rollover car accident in Florida on Friday (27), local authorities said.
Woods, who was unharmed in the accident, was detained after the car he was driving collided with a truck and rolled over.
Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said the 50-year-old man showed signs of “intoxication” but passed a breathalyzer test.
“But when it came time for us to order a urine test, he refused, and so he was charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test in the accident,” Budensiek said.
