A serious traffic accident occurred in the village of Bôrka in the Rožňav district on Monday after 6:30 p.m. Five people, including children, were injured. The Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (KR HaZZ) in Košice informs about this on the social network.
An accident involving a car that ended up in a ditch was reported. “Firefighters from Rožňava intervened on the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered that there were five people involved in the accident, two of them children. All people were injured,” the firemen said.
They provided the injured with pre-medical first aid and then assisted in transporting them to ambulances. “A rescue helicopter was also called to the scene for one seriously injured person,” clarified KR HaZZ.
