Reza Pahlavi rejects an agreement with the “faction” in power; says the United States will have a “great ally” after the “liberation” of the regime
son of the last shah (or king, as he is called in the West) of Iran, in his profile on X his speech at the conservative event in the United States CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) with the phrase “We will make Irã great again”which means “We will make Iran great again”. It is an adaptation of the political slogan of the American president, (Republican Party).
The conference for conservative politicians is being held from the 26th to the 29th in Texas. Pahlavi spoke this Saturday (March 28, 2026). He stated that he will lead the Iranian regime’s transition to democracy at the request of the population. He said he has a plan called IPP (Iran Prosperity Project).
Pahlavi asked the U.S. “stay the course”don’t bail out the current leaders and pave the way for the Iranians to finish the job.
“President Trump is making America great again. I intend to make Iran great again. Together, with my brave countrymen, that is exactly what we will do.”he declared.
The phrase “Make America Great Again” was used in Trump’s election campaign in 2016 and 2024. The phrase had already been used by Republican Ronald Reagan in 1980. Pahlavi repeated the phrase, but changed it. “America” by “Iran”. He defended that the Persian country has stability and is “amigo” from the USA and Israel.
For Pahlavi, it is necessary to remove “faction” of the regime, and rejected an agreement that would keep them in power. He stated that the “remnants” of the regime will always conspire against the USA and other countries in the region.
“Islamic Republic cannot reform itself. You cannot reform a snake. The poison is in its DNA”these.
He praised Trump for giving the regime the chance to remove it for the first time in 47 years. It stated that every US president since Jimmy Carter (1977-1981) has chosen “trying to manage this threat”. He stated that the only path to lasting peace and stability is through a definitive break with the people in power.
“Terrorists cannot be trusted to bring peace. If they are left in power, they will only bring more instability, chaos and destruction, as they have done for 47 years”these.
Pahlavi said he will call on the country’s population to put an end to the Iranian regime “once for all”.
The opponent said millions of Iranians asked him to lead the transition to democracy. He stated that he accepted the “call”. He declared that the Iranian armed forces and structures will follow him.
“Thousands of the regime’s military officers – some high-ranking – signaled their willingness to join me through a digital defection platform my team created a few months ago. Many of these officers refused to obey orders to kill civilians.”these.
OPPOSITION IN IRAN
Pahlavi is and has already applied for one from the United States in his home country. He said that the heroes of the Persian country fought, bled and died for their own freedom and for the liberation of Iran “from the clutches of an evil regime”.
The son of the last monarch declared that the Iranian government held the population hostage for 47 years. He called for an end to nuclear threats, terrorism, kidnappings, closing the Strait of Hormuz and blackmail.
Pahlavi demanded freedom for his people, stability for neighboring countries, national security and economic opportunities for the United States “and the free world”.
And he said: “Can you imagine Iran going from ‘Death to America’ to ‘God Bless America’? I can.”.
According to the Iranian opponent, the Persian people risked their lives to hold candlelight vigils in the heart of Tehran to help the US after the September 11 attack on the Twin Towers.

Pahlavi defended an Iran that is a pillar of stability in the Middle East, without threat to neighboring countries and isolationism. He further stated that the region will be transformed when the Persian country becomes “book”. He also declared that the USA will regain a great ally.
For the son of the last king, Iran has economic opportunities with its relationship with the USA. Pahlavi said a strategic partnership could provide “more than US$ 1 trillion” to the North American economy.
“FRIEND” OF ISRAEL
Pahlavi said that the Islamic Republic tramples on Iran’s ancient legacy of tolerance towards “religious minorities”. He stated that it is not “real Iran”.
“Iran, the United States, Israel and our Arab neighbors are united in peace and prosperity, rather than conflict and terror. A Middle East where we will be able to manage our own affairs and manage our own region – where we can put an end to endless wars and allow our American friends to bring back their sons and daughters in uniform and focus where they want: at home.”these.
For the opponent of the Iranian regime, the Persian people have already paid a price “unimaginable” for your freedom. He cited that millions of people took to the streets in a protest that, according to him, was the largest in modern history, in 31 provinces.

NO NEGOTIATION
Pahlavi said that Trump is right when he says that the US does not want to return to Iran every 2 years. He argued that if the “regime faction” remain in power, that is exactly what will happen.
“It will buy time. It will pretend to negotiate. And then it will return to its old jihadist ways of threatening the United States, its security, and its interests. They may promise a brief period of artificial calm. But it will inevitably be followed by the same terrorism, the same nuclear blackmail, and the same cries of ‘Death to America.'”he wrote.
He also criticized the IRGC, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He said it is not Iran’s national army, but a body of agents serving its own ideology “terror poison”, without national interests of the Persian country.
