The secretary general of the PS, José Luís Carneiro, defended the visit to Venezuela, stating that there is no contradiction between maintaining channels of dialogue and condemning the regime. In an interview with SIC Notícias, from the Congress of the Socialist Party, he assured who wanted to maintain dialogue channels that the government used to send the Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities.
Ram also criticized the Government for breaking with constitutional and Portuguese values by rejecting socialist proposals and forming alliances with Chega.
Tonight the socialist leader praised the advice left by to the Executive of Luís Montenegro, through an opinion article in Expresso, and warned of the possibility of Chega entering the leaving the PS out in the election of judges.
