Firefighters try to control a large fire that left the surrounding house without power; there is no information about injuries
A fire has been raging at a factory in the Brás region, in the center of São Paulo, since Saturday night (28 March 2026). On Sunday morning (29 March), around 30 Fire Department vehicles were on site to control the flames. More than 60 firefighters are in action at the scene.
The fire occurred in a property on Rua Sampaio Moreira, nº 162. According to the Fire Department, the space houses a pool table factory. There is no information about deaths or injuries.

Properties close to the burning property are without electricity due to the fire. To the Poder360the electricity concessionaire Enel reported that it disconnected the network to support the Fire Department’s work on site. There is still no estimate of damage to the electricity grid, but Enel teams are on site to provide support.
