Supermercados Apolónia announced the appointment of Rute Rodrigues to the position of Marketing and Communications Director, reinforcing the leadership team of the Algarve brand.
With more than 10 years of experience in the areas of marketing, communication and branding, Rute Rodrigues joins the brand after a professional career developed in the tourism, hotel and retail sectors.
Throughout his career, he assumed leadership roles in brands and groups such as Designer Outlet Algarve, AP Hotels & Resorts and Jupiter Hotel Group, where he developed integrated brand strategies, 360º campaigns, events, activations and projects linked to the consumer experience.
New manager wants to reinforce brand awareness
Before joining Supermercados Apolónia, Rute Rodrigues worked as Marketing Manager at Designer Outlet Algarve, where she was responsible for marketing strategy, large-scale campaigns, strategic partnerships and positioning initiatives linked to tourism, lifestyle and retail.

According to the company, Rute Rodrigues brings to Apolónia Supermercados solid experience in brand strategies, 360º campaigns, digital communication, events and consumer experience, as well as a results-oriented strategic vision, considered relevant for the consolidation of the brand in the food distribution sector.
They assert themselves as a reference in food distribution in the Algarve, with more than four decades of activity.
Founded by Avelino and Célia Apolónia, the company evolved from a family minimarket to a structure comprising three supermarkets and a distribution center, employing around 400 employees.
