Donald Trump has threatened to completely destroy Iran’s power plants, oil wells and Khark Island if Tehran does not quickly open the strategic Strait of Hormuz to trade.
US President Donald Trump on Monday threatened to completely destroy Iran’s power plants, oil wells and the island of Khark if there is no quick agreement with Tehran and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. He wrote it on his social network Truth Social, reports TASR.
“The United States of America is in serious negotiations with a NEW AND SMARTER REGIME to end our military operations in Iran,” Trump said. According to him, significant progress has been made in efforts to end the war in the Middle East, which began on February 28 with the US-Israeli attacks on Iran.

But he stressed that “if for whatever reason there is no deal soon, which is likely to happen, and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately ‘open for business’, we will end our lovely ‘stay’ in Iran by blowing up and completely destroying all their power plants, oil wells and Khark Island (and possibly all desalination plants!) that we have not yet deliberately hit”.
Trump’s statement came after Iran’s Foreign Ministry disputed his earlier claims about ongoing negotiations, Sky News reported.
