After having guided Luka Modric at Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti crossed paths with the Croatian midfielder again this Tuesday, after Brazil’s victory over Croatia (3-1), in a preparatory game for the World Cup.
At the end of the match, the Brazilian coach made a point of congratulating the former player and had a relaxed moment. Between smiles, Ancelotti joked with Modric when suggesting an unlikely change: «Don’t you have a Brazilian grandfather?».
The exchange of words ended with a hug between the two, in a reunion marked by good humor and mutual respect.
