The senator left the PSD and should be Lula’s candidate in Minas Gerais

Senator Rodrigo Pacheco, who was from the PSD, joined the PSB on Wednesday night (1st). The affiliation ceremony took place at the party headquarters with the presence of vice-president Geraldo Alckmin and the mayor of Recife, João Campos, who is president of the party.
The interim governor of Minas Gerais, Pedro Simões, is the main name to be a pre-candidate for the PSD. For this reason, Pacheco needed to change parties to have a chance to run for the Minas Gerais government.
With his membership in the PSB, the senator must be President Lula’s name for the Minas Gerais government campaign.
