The American president, Donald Trumpsaid this Wednesday (1st) that the Iran would have “disappeared” if the United States had attacked Iranian oil production. In a speech to the nation, the Republican stated that the bases were the “easiest targets of all”.
Trump declared that, at the end of the conflict, “all Tehran can do is sell oil”. Something that, for the Republican, will make the Strait of Hormuz “open naturally”.
“The flow of oil will resume and the fuel prices will fall quickly,” said the US president.
Without providing concrete datathe Republican said that the The United States currently produces more oil than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined. Trump attributed to his “drill, drill” policy. The American president declared “no longer need” imports of the product.
