Seduc-SP (Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo) opened applications for 20 thousand places in the Beem program (High School Internship Scholarship).
Students enrolled in the 2nd and 3rd grades of high school in the state network can apply. Registration runs until July 20th.
Beem offers scholarships to partner companies. The expected working hours range from 12 to 20 hours per week. Scholarship values vary between R$422.03 and R$851.46, depending on the course and workload.
To date, Seduc‑SP counts 11,600. The goal is to reach 30 thousand by the end of 2026. Payment of the scholarship will be made by the secretariat for an initial period of six months, during which personal accident insurance will be included.
During the initial six months, partner companies must provide transportation assistance and a supervisor with training or experience in the area of the technical course, responsible for monitoring the intern. After this period, institutions can hire students under their own contract.
Students can participate if:
- Be 16 years old on the internship admission date;
- Be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd series of the technical-professional secondary education route in the state network;
- Present attendance equal to or greater than 85% in the semester prior to selection;
- Have completed, in the previous year, the Provão Paulista Serial;
- Students whose course ends within six months of the call date will not be called.
The selection process is eliminatory and classificatory in nature, limited to the number of vacancies available. Companies can, if they wish, include additional selection phases, such as CV analysis or interviews.
“There are over 20,000 vacancies available for our students. Just access, look for the vacancy that best suits your region and register. This creates the first opportunity to enter the job market”, says the executive secretary of Education, Vinícius Neiva.
