“The food of my life is ‘Rakott Krumpli’. It is a potato casserole of Hungarian origin with sausage, eggs and sour cream. My grandmother, who comes from Burgenland, always used bechamel. I associate the dish with visits to my grandparents’ farmhouse. Aunts, uncles, cousins - we all sat at the big table and ate Rakott Krumpli.
