Odense – Five years after his cardiac arrest at the 2021 European Championship, Christian Eriksen collapsed again on the pitch on Sunday during Denmark’s international football match against Ukraine in Odense. The 34-year-old grabbed his chest in the 65th minute and fell to the ground. After initial treatment, he was able to get up again and walk on his own two feet to an ambulance that was driven to the field. “He’s doing well given the circumstances,” the Danish association gave the all-clear.
