The Cascais region was the location chosen by the French brand to present one of its most important models to the international press.
It was born 36 years ago and is the best-selling French car of all time with almost 17 million units sold. The sixth generation of the Renault Clio surprises with a bolder and more muscular look. One of the main new features is the longer hood that highlights the dynamic and premium lines. There is no doubt that the new Clio has undergone a true revolution. It is bigger and has grown in both width and length and this is perfectly noticeable in the cabin.
The interior maintains the lines of the new Renault 4 and Renault 5. The My Safety Switch function is new and allows you to configure driving aids.
Three engines will be available, but the big news is the hybrid engine with 160 hp and which combines a gasoline engine with two electric motors. The price of this hybrid version is penalized by the Portuguese tax system.
It is also available with gasoline and LPG engines.
Without a doubt, Renault reveals ambition and even some boldness with this new Clio, which completely breaks with previous generations.
