Instituto Não Aceito Corrupção presents plan – 04/03/2026 – Panel

Inac (Instituto Não Aceito) presented one to public bodies to rebuild governance, restore trust in institutions and combat corruption.

One of the suggestions provides for a “Code of Ethics and Integrity in Superior Courts”, with objective parameters on conflicts of interest, quarantines, transparency of agendas, and fees for lectures.

The measure that has been defended by the president of the (Supreme Federal Court), minister.

When presenting to journalists an overview of the six months of his administration on Tuesday (31), the president of the STF stated that “judges also make mistakes and need to answer for mistakes”. He also said that “anyone who acts in violation of an ethical rule needs to feel constrained to rethink their behavior.”

The document from the Instituto Não Aceito Corrupção, released this Wednesday (1st), was prepared following the 10th Paths Against Corruption Seminar, held at the Faculty of Law of USP (University of São Paulo) on March 30th and 31st.

The plan also suggests, among other points, the review of parliamentary amendments, the creation of a robust whistleblower protection system and the implementation of mandatory training programs in ethics, citizenship and integrity.

According to the institute, the document was forwarded to the Presidency of the Republic, the National Congress, the PGR (Attorney General’s Office), the TCU (Federal Audit Court), the CNJ (National Council of Justice) and the CNMP (National Council of the Public Ministry).

The entity is chaired by promoter Roberto Livianu and its executive director is José Roberto Maluf.
