Flamengo will fine Erick Pulgar for his expulsion in the 3-0 defeat against RB Bragantino, on Thursday (2), in the ninth round of the Brasileirão, at the Cícero de Souza Marques Stadium, in Bragança Paulista.
The punishment has already been applied by the current board in other cases, such as Wallace Yan and Gonzalo Plata, last season.

“For sure, he didn’t have the best. He wants to win like everyone else, but we have to have the ability to control our emotions. It’s fundamental. Pulgar is hot-blooded, but he knows he has to be careful and this has harmed the team’s possible reaction. Pulgar and any Flamengo player has to pay this attention”, stated Jardim.

With 14 points in eight games, Flamengo ends the round in sixth place.
