A social project developed in the Calafate neighborhood, in , has changed the reality of children through sport. The “Faixa na Caveira” initiative uses jiu-jitsu as a tool for inclusion and development, currently serving around 80 participants, including children on the autism spectrum.
Recently, businessman and nutritionist Lucas Fernandes visited the project and highlighted the importance of actions aimed at social transformation. During his visit there, he closely followed the activities and reinforced his support for initiatives that directly impact families in the community.
The project is coordinated by Professor Michael, who explains that the main objective is to promote inclusion and offer new perspectives to children. According to him, in addition to practicing sports, work also contributes to the social and emotional development of participants.

Furthermore, reports from family members point to significant changes in the children’s behavior. One of the parents highlighted that jiu-jitsu became a moment of balance for his son, acting as a kind of break from his routine and helping with his well-being.
