O Fire Department found this Saturday (4), the body of woman who was missingfrom to last Thursday (2), after heavy rains in Piracicabain the interior of São Paulo. The victim was located approximately 22 kilometers from the point of disappearance, in a watercourse in the Piracicaba River.
According to the state Civil Defense, the victim and, after falling into the gutter, the car was “swallowed” by the water and dragged by the current.

In addition to the occurrence, it was also recorded temporary flooding points and flash floods on other roadsArmando Salles de Oliveira, Trinta e Um de Março, Alberto Vollet Sachs and on Demóstenes Santos Corrêa street.
No records of affected residences, displaced persons or homeless people were identified.
According to Civil Defense, until 7:00 am on Friday (3), Piracicaba recorded 75 millimeters of precipitation, the highest number among all cities in São Paulo in the last 24 hours.
