Portuguese center Neemias Queta scored 18 points this Sunday in the Boston Celtics’ victory over the Toronto Raptors, 115-101, in the North American Basketball League (NBA).
In the 33.52 minutes he was on the field in his 73rd game of the 2025/26 season, the Portuguese international scored 18 points, missing just one of 10 attempted shots, seven rebounds, five offensive shots, four assists and three shot tackles.
The Celtics were led by Jaylon Brown, who added 26 points, and Jayson Tatum, author of 23 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists, while Ja’kobe Walter was the Raptors’ scorer, with 16, followed by RJ Barrett and Brandon Ingram, with 15 each.
The Celtics recorded their 53rd victory in 78 games and remain second in the Eastern Conference, behind the Detroit Pistons (57 victories and 21 setbacks), while the Raptors remain in seventh place, with 43 wins and 30 defeats, in a play-in position.
Playing his fifth season in the NBA, Neemias Queta has played 183 games in the regular season, 163 for the Celtics (28 in 2023/24, 62 in 2024/25 and 73 in 2025/26), for which he was champion in his debut season, and 20 for the Sacramento Kings, 15 in 2021/22, as a ‘rookie’, and five in 2022/23.
