The most successful Czech-Slovak hip-hop group Kontrafakt prepared a unique project! In Slovakia, their tour continues after 20 years. Trojica Rytmus, Ego and DJ Anys decided to commemorate the year 2005, in which they set a new image and sound and together celebrated the 20th anniversary of the project that changed the music scene.
The legendary Murdardo Mulano Tour is back. It returned to three cities and it also features the famous artist Marián Čekovský and his group. The Murdardo Mulano Tour was the first ever live hip-hop tour. It also sold out clubs thanks to its unique show.
More about the project with musician Teri Čikoš said Patrik Rytmus Vrbovský. The rapper was looking forward to it because it’s history, they like music and Marián Čekovský, with whom he personally hasn’t been on stage for about 20 years. “In a way, it’s a celebration of what was in 2005. I’m extremely looking forward to it,” said Rytmus.
What does the future look like with the Kontrafakt album? “I think it can be, but it’s not a problem for us, but whether it’s necessary. Because what are you supposed to do? Because of a career, or to prove something, or because of… Why do you want to write out your feelings? It’s hard to say, because you’re like, I don’t know… When you ask an old musician, “Are you going to release another album?” You know, I don’t know…” the rapper explained.
“I don’t want to compare myself now, but the fact that someone who does it for 30 years and has built an extreme career simply doesn’t have to do it anymore, because he doesn’t have a reason why. And I even think that people are not curious about it anymore. Because imagine that a favorite of yours, whom you grew up with, comes to a concert and he will entertain you with one of his new albums,” added Rytmus.
