Petrobras fires director and elects new president of the Board of Directors

⁠Petrobras reported this Monday that ⁠its Board of Directors approved ‌the early termination of the term of office of the executive director of Logistics, Commercialization and ‌Markets, Claudio Romeo Schlosser, in addition to the election of a new president for the collegiate.

On the same occasion, the board approved the appointment ⁠of ‌Angelica Laureano to the post, ⁠taking over the position from April 7, 2026, with a unified mandate until April 2027, said the company in a statement to the market this Monday.

With the change, the executive director of Industrial Processes and Products, William França, will temporarily take on the role of executive director of Energy Transition and Sustainability, a position previously occupied by Laureano.

In addition to the changes, the company also announced, in a relevant fact, that the Board of Directors elected Marcelo Weick Pogliese as president of the board.

Pogliese will replace Bruno Moretti, who left the position last month to take over the Ministry of Planning and Budget. In a relevant fact released to the market, ⁠Petrobras said that Pogliese will remain in office ⁠until the company’s next general shareholders’ meeting, called for April 16th.
