Former tennis player Dominika Cibulková lost a respectable 23 kilograms during the year 2024. Today, however, she honestly admits that her life has brought unexpected obstacles and it was beyond her strength to maintain this extreme pace. Challenging circumstances associated with the ongoing divorce with long-time partner Michal Navar they exacted their toll, and the needle on the scale again moved in a direction it did not wish for.

The mother of two openly revealed on the social network that the family crisis left its mark not only on her psyche, but also on her appearance. Regular exercise had to give way to other priorities and a strictly balanced diet ceased to be number one. But in mid-March, she decided it was time to draw a line behind this sadder period and get back to her better self.

Her first steps led to nutritionist Zuzana Lišková, where after a series of measurements and weighings, she found that she had gained five kilos. Despite the unpleasant discovery, she did not lose her determination and declared that she intends to return to her original form. After two weeks of honest mode, again on Wednesday, April 1 she stepped on the scale, but the result slightly surprised her. “In two weeks, I’ll lose a kilo. I’ll tell you that I expected a kilo and a half for sure. Maybe I even believed in two kilos,” she admitted candidly in an Instagram video.

However, during the Easter holidays, she slightly relaxed her strict rules and indulged in a rich menu. “Sometimes you have to treat yourself, after all,” she stated on Saturday, April 4, on Instagram with a shot of a table full of goodies. PHOTO can be found in the gallery. “Don’t look now, we’ll weigh each other in a few days” she told her nutritionist during a moment of gourmet experience.

After the weekend, the hard work started again. “Yesterday PLENTY – today MAKAT,” she reported on Easter Monday, when she was already in full swing in what looked like a gym. They also do not hide that she likes to indulge, but immediately she has to compensate with movement. “You zamak – you allow yourself – you zamak – you allow yourself and so on round and round,” she described her current recipe for staying in shape.
