Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on his X profile that more than 14 million Iranians “courageous” are ready to “Sacrifice their lives” in the defense of the country. The statement was made this Tuesday (Apr 7, 2026) hours before the end of what was established by the (Republican Party) for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
“I have also sacrificed, I sacrifice and will sacrifice my life for Iran”he said. In an interview with journalists on Monday (April 6), the president of the United States stated that Iran “can be destroyed in 1 day” and declared that “That could be tomorrow”.
Pezeshkian’s statement is joined by Ibrahim Zulfiqari on the position of resistance to US threats. “We will inevitably destroy the Zionist entity, even if we all die as martyrs”he wrote.
In another post, Zulfiqari stated: “Our response will not just be shocking, it will be decisive and final”in addition to other threats to the United States.
