Berlin – Younger men will continue to be able to leave the country without permission despite the new military service law. A spokeswoman for the ministry announced on Tuesday that there would be a general exception this week despite the requirement for approval for such trips enshrined in the law. The approval would have been granted regularly anyway, but they wanted to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy.
