Exam after exam! Singer and occasional actress Katarína Šimurka Feldeková had to deal with three painful losses. In October 2024, her beloved husband Richard Šimurka suddenly left her, who had a heart failure. Last December, Katka’s mother Oľga Feldeková also got married. The popular novelist and satirist fought bravely against a serious illness that was finally beyond her strength. The sad news that the wife of the writer Ľubomír Feldek had died was then announced to the world by their friend Anka Ölvecká, together with the devastated family.
Unfortunately, no one expected that death would come for her in a few months. A long-time successful journalist with a famous vigour, a catchy positive view of the world and an unmistakable smile passed away forever a few days ago. The chanson singer Katarína, who only recently did a big interview with Anka for the Nový Čas Nedeľa weekly, lost a very close support. “The day she died, I was supposed to go see her at the hospital,” said Feldekova with sadness in her voice, who sent her friend a touching message to heaven.
“My beloved Anička, there are no words. Today is a year and a half since Riško left me, four months since my mother left me and one day since you left me. What can I tell you… That I am glad that you are no longer worried? That we will talk again? That nothing is forever? That life is like that? But before we meet again, I will discuss with him what he wrote, whether he had a good time and whether he can look in the mirror at everything he’s caused,” Katka poured out her heart and soul on the social network.
“I will submit a petition to the appropriate authorities to have him stripped of his autonomy. After all, he can’t hurt himself here and there with impunity like this. I won’t respect you not being here. No one and nothing will deprive me of the love I will feel for you forever. I’m terribly sad,” wrote Feldeková, who is bravely fighting the wounds of fate. She is helped by her beloved daughter, family and friends.
