The tranquility of the Ipiranga neighborhood, in Ituiutaba (MG)was interrupted by an act of violence on Wednesday morning (08/04). At around 7am, a 16-year-old teenager managed to access the premises of the Rotary State School carrying a pocket knife, hitting five children who were there for the start of classes.

The victims, aged between 9 and 11 years oldwere promptly rescued. According to official information from the city hall and the Military:

The perpetrator of the attack was still contained inside the school by staff and military personnel, and was taken to the police station in . So far, the motivation for the crime remains unknown, and the teenager will undergo evaluations to determine what triggered the violent behavior.
