The Presidency of the Republic of Lebanon asked this Wednesday, 8th, for the international community to assume responsibilities to stop Israel’s repeated attacks on the country and put an end to the “aggressive approach” that threatens security and stability in the region.
“These barbaric attacks, which neither recognize the truth nor respect any agreements or commitments, have repeatedly proven their disregard for all international laws and norms. And we have seen, throughout the fifteen months of the ceasefire agreement, the magnitude of the violations and transgressions committed without any restraint,” wrote Lebanon’s presidential account on X.
The Lebanese government pointed out that the Israelis have once again intensified their aggression against the country, “throwing away all efforts aimed at calm and stability” in the region.
