The US Central Command (Centcom) has announced that The US military has attacked Iran in reaction to the US offensive. during the day this Thursday against a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
From Centcom they have specified that Several US aircraft have attacked Iranian drone and missile warehousesin addition to coastal radar bases, in response to Tehran for “violating the ceasefire.”
The military body has argued that the offensive is “a strong response” to Iran’s attack on the Singapore-flagged M/V Ever Lovely on Thursdaywhile it was leaving the Strait of Hormuz along the coast of Oman.
Specifically, the US Central Command has expressed that “the unjustified aggression against commercial shipping by Iranian forces “clearly violated the ceasefire.”
In this sense, Centcom has stressed that “Iran’s dangerous behavior undermined freedom of navigation at a time when trade increasingly flows through this vitally important international trade corridor.”
Trump previously denounced new attacks on cargo ships
