Van Hattem calls Alcolumber “offender” and “accomplice”

The federal deputy (Novo-RS) called the president of the Senate, (União Brasil-AP) “missing” e “accomplice”. The statement on his X profile, on Wednesday (April 8, 2026).

In the publication, van Hattem stated that the Senate needs a president “that he is neither negligent nor complicit, like Davi Alcolumbre”. The post, accompanied by a video, had more than 59,000 views until the last update of this report.

In the video, the deputy cites alleged information involving Banco Master and the minister of the Federal Supreme Court, Alexandre de Moraes.

The congressman also mentioned the director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, when stating that a trip to London would have been paid for by the financial institution.

During the recording, van Hattem criticized the decision not to extend the Organized Crime CPI in an election year and stated that the investigation was being “hampered by political ends”. He also cited minister André Mendonça as responsible for continuing the investigations at the Supreme Court.

In the end, the deputy defended the renewal of the Senate in this year’s elections and said that the choice of senators will be “the most important” for the country. Van Hattem also declared himself a pre-candidate for the position and stated that he intends to work for changes in the composition of the House, including the election of a new presidency and the opening of impeachment proceedings against STF ministers.
