Ethics: don’t do what we do
The Ethics Court of the São Paulo section of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-SP) opened a necessary, apparently late, discussion by defining what is ethically prohibited for lawyers in their relationship with magistrates.
The index recommends avoiding “granting, funding or providing material benefits and advantages to public agents, such as magistrates, members of parliament and parliamentarians, including travel, events, private transport and other facilities”.
