In the request, the senator defends the commission’s supervision of the issue and says that it is necessary to publicize the CVM’s activities.
“The impacts currently observed in the BRB reinforce the need to assess whether the CVM’s actions were sufficient to prevent relevant risks to the market and the financial system, especially regarding the timeliness and effectiveness of the measures adopted”, he stated.
