The state poured thousands into the Rock pod Kameňom festival, Jaro Slávik is furious: He spared no one!

Organizers of the Rock under the Stone festival announced on Monday that the event will finally take place on the original date (June 25, 26 and 27). In the video, they said that a miracle had happened and “they were saved by someone we would never have told in our lives.” The mysterious savior is the Slovak government, which approved 80,000 euros for the festival.

Robert Fico admitted on Wednesday that this decision could be seen as controversial. “I am willing to bear criticism, I consider it right to support one of the biggest musical events in this region, which is also attended by people from other regions of Slovakia,” explained the prime minister.

The organizers emphasized at the beginning of the week that they will do everything to make the event what the visitors deserve and begged them not to disturb the accommodation and not to sell tickets. The Rock pod Kameňom festival takes place in the Topovné complex in Belá nad Cirochou.

The date was supposed to be moved to another, and they justified it by the economic reality of organizing large music events. The festival finally started as planned and even though many performers had already refused to perform at the event, the organizers managed to fill the line-up to .

A well-known music producer reacted to the whole situation surrounding the festival Jaro Slávik (51) on his Instagram. “So municipalities make festivals for people, for free” (ie from public sources), the entire commercial festival segment is dying, and the government will now allocate 80,000 euros to a meaningless project of absolutely incompetent dramaturgy.” he wondered.
