A man aged around 50 died this Monday after being run over by a passenger vehicle on Complementary Itinerary (IC) 2 in Albergaria-a-Velha, in the district of Aveiro, a fire department source said.
The alert for the road accident was given at around 05:00, and firefighters from Albergaria-a-Velha, from the National Institute of Medical Emergency, arrived at the scene () e .
According to a source from the Municipal Civil Protection, the man was walking along the IC2, in the parish of Branca, in Albergaria-a-Velha, when he was run over by a passenger vehicle.
The death was confirmed at the scene by the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER) team.
