The spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Trenčín, Petra Klenková, told TASR that the circumstances, the degree of culpability and the cause of the traffic accident are the subject of further clarification. According to her, the driver probably crossed into the oncoming part of the road as a result of not adapting the driving to her abilities. “She went off the road onto the grass, where she hit a traffic sign head-on and then a tree,” she summarized by saying that the driver’s breath test was negative.
