Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone | Television Series

There’s nothing special about Harry Potter, at least that’s what his Aunt Petunia always says. On his 11th birthday, a letter of admission to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry opens a hidden world to Harry: a world of fun, friendship and magic. But this new adventure comes with great risk, as Harry is forced to face a dangerous enemy from his past.

who receives the letter to be a sorcerer on his eleventh birthday, accompanied by Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, who recreate in this first preview some of the most famous scenes of the saga already seen before. The series is written by Francesca Gardiner (Succession) and Mark Mylod directs some of the episodes.

The cast includes John Lithgow as Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore and Paapa Essiedu as Professor Snape; plus Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Elijah Oshin as Dean Thomas, Tristan Harland as Fred Weasley, Gabriel Harland as George Weasley, Ruari Spooner as Percy Weasley, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, Finn Stephens as Vincent Crabbe, William Nash as Gregory Goyle, as Filius Flitwick and Sirine Saba as Pomona Sprout.
