Netanyahu reports the hardest blow to Iran in the history of the regime. He talks about the systematic destruction of the “axis of evil” in the region

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, Netanyahu claims that Israel and the US have dealt Iran the strongest blow in the history of the regime. He warns of Tehran’s nuclear threat.

On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a speech on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day (Yom Hashoah), declared that Israel, together with the United States, dealt the Iranian leadership “the strongest blow” it had ever experienced. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the crackdown on the Iranian leadership as unprecedented.
  • Netanyahu says the Iranian regime is now weaker than ever.
  • According to Netanyahu, Israel is systematically attacking the Iranian axis of evil in the region.
  • He compared Iran’s nuclear facilities to the Nazi extermination camps of World War II.
  • During the two-week ceasefire with Iran, Israel continues to attack Hezbollah.

“We have dealt the strongest blow in the history of this regime. It is weaker than ever,” Netanyahu said during a ceremony at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem. He added that “they have been systematically destroying the Iranian axis of evil in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and the West Bank for two and a half years.”

Iranian facilities as a threat

“If we had not acted, names like Natanz, Fordó, Isfahan and Parcin could have become synonymous with horror, like Auschwitz, Treblinka, Majdanek and Sobibor,” Netanyahu compared Iran’s nuclear facilities to Nazi extermination camps.

Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day (Yom Hashoah) this year fell on Monday, April 13, and will last until Tuesday evening. It commemorates the six million victims of the Holocaust during the Second World War.

Tensions during the ceasefire

This year, it is being commemorated during a two-week truce in the war with Iran, which began with joint attacks by Israel and the United States on the Islamic Republic on February 28. Despite the ceasefire, Israel continues to attack targets of the Hezbollah militant movement in Lebanon.
