Madonna has announced the release of “Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II”, the follow-up to her two-time Grammy-winning 2005 album, for this summer. The 15th studio album marks the return of the “queen of pop” seven years after “Madame X”.

Seven years after “Madame X” (2019)Madonna is preparing to release her 15th studio album on July 3rd. “Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II” is the continuation of the album released in 2005, which won two Grammys and produced hits such as “Hung Up”, “Sorry”, “Get Together” e “Jump”.

The “queen of pop” made the announcement this Wednesday through social media, where she revealed the capa of the album. In the image, he appears in a position similar to that of “Confessions On A Dance Floor” (2005), with a color palette in shades of pink and purple.

Madonna also released an excerpt from the first single that will be part of this album, the theme “I Feel So Free”which does not yet have a confirmed release date.

“Sometimes I just like to hide in the shadows, create a new persona, a different identity. I can be whoever I want to be, create a new persona. Honestly, I would like to be like other people and just not care, but here on the dance floor I feel so free”he whispers in the video.

Madonna collaborates again with the producer Stuart Pricewho co-wrote and produced the original album. In a statement cited by the international press, the artist explains that, when they started working on this project, they defined a creative manifesto.

According to Madonna, the idea goes through dance, celebrate and praypractices that he describes as ancient and spiritual. A dance floor is, for the singer, a ritual space where it is possible to connect with your own wounds and weaknesses. The artist also highlights that “rave” is an art form, linked to overcoming limits and connection to a community of people with the same energy.

For now, it is not known whether this album will be the trigger for a new tour, the first since 2023/2024, when it performed more than 80 concertos to celebrate 40 years of careerincluding in Portugal, where For now, fans can sign up for pre-orders for the new album on by the 67-year-old artist, which will be available in formats CD, vinyl and cassette.
