The Judicial Police (PJ) seas the man suspect to throw one “molotov cocktail” against the people who participated in the demonstration, which took place last month in Lisbon.
The PJ explains that the man, arrested on Tuesday, is indicted for “attempting to commit crimes of terrorist offenses”, possession of a prohibited weapon, fire, explosion and “other especially dangerous conduct and serious physical harm”.
The man had already been detained by the PSP, for possession of a prohibited weapon, on the day of the demonstration, which took place on March 21, at the Assembly of the Republic. He was released two days later and was required to report to authorities daily.
The man, who was not taking part in the demonstration, allegedly threw a ‘Molotov cocktail’ filled with gasoline towards the protesters. The explosive device was placed in an area where children and babies were also present.
