O POSTAL made a price simulation for the night of June 13th to 14th at , in Portimão, which presents a total cost of 77 euros for two people, without breakfast included. This value corresponds to around 38.50 euros per person, positioning the offer as a short-term option for those looking for an affordable getaway.
Location by the sea
The hotel’s website states that it is located in the center of Praia da Rocha, one of the most popular bathing areas in the Algarve. The unit is approximately 50 meters from the sand, allowing quick access to the beach and an area with shops, restaurants and leisure spaces.
Your weekend plan can be complemented with a visit to Aqualand Algarve, located about half an hour’s drive from Portimão. The water park website explains that the entry price for adults starts at 16.50 euros, as long as the ticket is purchased online.
Opening and offering of attractions
According to the same source, the water park opens its doors on June 8th, offering a range of equipment aimed at different age groups. The infrastructure includes a total of 12 attractions, designed to provide water activities throughout the day.
There is an area dedicated to younger visitors, with adapted structures and shallower areas. The space includes themed slides, fountains and visual elements that seek to encourage safe use. For those looking for more adrenaline, structures such as the Kamikaze, 36 meters high, or the King Cobra, with descents starting at around 25 meters, may be more attractive
Quieter alternatives
The park also has lower intensity options, such as the wave pool, lazy river and relaxation areas. These alternatives allow for longer use of the space, without the need to resort only to the most demanding attractions.
Doing the math for your weekend, it is possible to combine your stay at the Hotel Avenida Praia with a trip to the Aqualand water park, for 55 euros per person.
