The commission has 19 members and is chaired by Nelsinho Trad (PSD-MS).

According to Seif’s request, the mission intends to verify the provision of consular assistance to Brazilians, monitor the execution of the Extradition Treaty signed between Brazil and the USA and carry out technical visits to ICE custody facilities and meetings at the Consulate General and the Brazilian embassy.
