Verónica and Rui Filipe, one of the couples in the current edition of the SIC program ‘Casados à Primeira Vista’, are enjoying their honeymoon in Brazil, more precisely in Santa Catarina.
After enjoying moments of relaxation and reflection with her husband, the driving instructor received a work-related phone call and ended up bursting into tears due to the “setback” and the attempt to keep everything under control.
“At this moment, I just want to grab my suitcase and leave”he began by confessing, in conversation with the production team.
Verônica also explained the reason for her revolt: “It just has to do with me, because I think I don’t have the right to live my life and that I have to always be there involved in my work, but I’m so insecure, that I feel like if I’m not there it’s going to go to shit. So, that’s it, it’s my insecurity (…). Not everything is just the company, not everything is just the work, I know that, but I feel like I’m failing them”.
Later, the competitor was challenged to vent to Rui Filipe during a special dinner and ended up clarifying that she burst into tears because of a problem at work and not because of experience or marriage.
“It’s very complicated for me, I bring the whole world’s guilt upon myself (…)”he said, then remembering a little about his childhood.
