SHMÚ has issued a warning and warns: Many Slovaks can be terrorized at night!

In the night from Saturday to Sunday (April 19), frost may occur in the south and east of Slovakia. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) therefore issued a first level warning. He informs about it on his website.

The warning is valid from midnight to 7:00 a.m. for the entire Košice region, almost the entire Prešovský and Banskobystrický regions. “Rare ground frost is expected, which poses a threat to lower vegetation. At a height of five centimeters above the surface, the minimum air temperature is expected to be zero to minus two degrees,” the meteorologists said.
