The ORF Foundation Board has “a need for structural action” for its member Hildegard Aichberger. “Stricter rules are needed when it comes to transparency and conflicts of interest – for example when it comes to disclosure obligations or when dealing with lobbying,” explains the ORF board member sent by the Greens to the STANDARD: “As the board of trustees, we could also take quick steps ourselves. At the same time, the legislature should tighten things up in the course of an amendment to the ORF law.”
